Location

Tupelo and float to clinics in Houlka and Pontotoc as needed

Required Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or equivalent

  • 1 Year medical office experience

  • Computer literate- Ability to use Word and Excel

  • Ability to work independently

  • Willing to work at various Access locations

  • Must be able to handle money and reconcile payments daily as well as monthly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of CPT codes and ICD-10 diagnosis codes

  • Knowledge of HIPAA rules

  • Ability to adapt to working with multiple providers and other staff

Description and Duties

  • Answers phones promptly and courteously

  • Makes patient appointments and reschedules as necessary - change to manage appontments (schedule, reschedule, and cancel)

  • Greets patients with a warm friendly smile, obtains and verifies patient information and insurance information

  • Cross-trained to perform all office job duties

  • Observes strict patient confidentiality when dealing with callers/patients
